The Golf Guide is fast becoming the voice of Golf Clubs in print and online – acting locally but thinking nationally – with regional magazines in the North West & Cumbria, Yorkshire & North East, South Central, Ireland and Spain plus new regions opening up very soon.
The Golf Guide Magazine, complimented by this brand new visually superb website is a directory for Golf Clubs to advertise their unique facilities, services and products. It is distributed free of charge to all of the clubs in a region, around their clubhouses for members and visitors to pick up and read. Each region is published 4 times per year in the UK with 10,000 copies per edition, giving a distribution of 40,000 per year and over 200,000 for all the regions combined.
We are unique with our approach in a number of ways:
1) We will never be a price orientated website and as such we put the Golf Clubs products and services above simply providing a cost of a green fee. We purposely avoid any price related searches on this site.
2) The magazine and website work on behalf of the Golf Clubs and as such ensure they are at the forefront of any advertising.
3) We will never advertise products or services deemed to provide competition to the golf clubs products and services. We have discreet brand awareness placed on the site, but we do not endorse any specific golf retailers.
4) We connect golfers to golf clubs without the need for 3rd parties – full connectivity to golf club websites and booking systems is provided online, commission free.
In addition to golf clubs, the publications are distributed to professional service firms including Banks, Accountants, Law and Corporate businesses along with regional hotels, transport hubs and car dealerships with an ever growing number of subscribers. Using our network you can have local exposure in the luxury lifestyle magazine and a national presence online.

As one of the main sponsors of the Golf Guide Tour I had the pleasure of playing in one of the events at Silloth Golf Club, it provided me with a real insight into just how professional the Golf Guide team are when it comes to running their events. With 50 pairings teeing it up for some fantastic prizes I can honestly say everything about the day was professional from the moment I arrived, the first tee had the look and feel of a Tour event and the course was set up very fairly making it enjoyable for every standard of golfer.
With so much recent talk of golf being in the doldrums and participation falling, it is truly refreshing to see what Golf Guide Tour are doing. As someone who has worked in the industry for 40 years and who cares passionately about the future of the game I see the Golf Guide Tour as a perfect way for golfers of all levels to still enjoy the competitive side of the game at very affordable prices on some excellent golf courses.
The Golf Guide Tour is also a perfect vehicle to entertain clients in a very affordable way, my guest had a fabulous day, so much so he wanted to know when was the next one he could play in!

Golf Guide and Professionalism
The team arrived at Hesketh Golf Club on 17 April 2015. Immediately, there was a professional presence in the way the team went about their business; meeting the club’s staff, organising their personal administration and ensuring that the golfers were well catered for. All areas of attention were provided with a warm and positive attitude. The day went extremely well and everyone enjoyed themselves. The feedback was supportive and encouraging. The Golf Guide Team left nothing to chance and followed up their day with a thank you to the Hesketh team for providing an excellent day.
One highlight was the flyover of Hesketh Golf Club which although was straight from the ‘cutting room’ looked truly professional.
Would Hesketh use Golf Guide again – certainly, the friendship and professionalism is what this club is all about.
