“My bf is a member at Ashridge GC and I've walked the course multiple times with him (mainly looking for his ball in the woods). Jokes aside, it is a very special part of the world. I've also been to the famous sunday lunch on multiple occasions and I've always loved it. The views from the balcony are beautiful. 5 stars”

“Amazing course set in the woods with trees either side on most holes. A real challenge. Some old fashioned values still at the club. One of our party was picked up for not wearing white socks. But otherwise the club was really nice and the bar and food all really good. Bar lady was super friendly and a breath of fresh air.”

“A very special golf course set in a National Trust area of outstanding beauty. If you like driving the ball it's great for that, the greens are generous in size but don't be fooled if you are a long way away from the pin, good putting is a premium. The members are so friendly, everyone I met or spoke with were so proud of the course and club. Well worth a visit to this English top 100 golf course.”
