“WOW! All I can say about this course is wow.. amazing In every aspect of the game. This course defines purity. The whole course is in immaculate condition. The tee box’s are absolutely flawless with little to hardly any divots. The angulation to the greens and fairways are almost perfect. I am a 7-8 handicap and I played along with 2 15 handicaps and a 20 handicap and everyone really enjoyed the course. The course has places that are challenging but the challenge is fair for almost any handicap golfer. Great hospitality at the pro shop as well. I came from the USA and was playing as a single but they were kind enough to move me ahead 40 minutes to join a three some. The three each had a caddie and they were the most helpful and kind caddies you’d ever meet. It’s a course I will make the 8 hour plane ride from America to play atleast once a year for the rest of my life.”

We had the privilege of experiencing the stunning layout, and it truly tests every club in your bag. The course conditioning was world-class, with immaculate fairways that roll beautifully and greens that are fast, true, and demanding. The natural dunes and classic links layout provide both a breathtaking scenic backdrop and a phenomenal strategic challenge, especially when the wind decides to show its teeth. Beyond the course itself, the hospitality was top-notch. The staff, from the pro shop to the clubhouse, were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making us feel right at home. The panoramic views from the clubhouse over the links and the Atlantic Ocean are the perfect place to sit back and reflect on a memorable round. If you are passionate about pure, rugged, and authentic links golf, Ballyliffin is an absolute must-play. A 10/10 experience that I cannot recommend highly enough. I will definitely be returning!”
