Bromborough Golf Club, Raby Hall Road, Bromborough, Wirral, CH63 0NW

About the club

Nestled within a mature section of the Leverhulme Estate at the heart of the Wirral Peninsula, Bromborough Golf Course stands as a renowned "hidden gem" and a Championship Golf Course, fondly known as "Wirral's Parkland Jewel®". For over a century, golfers have navigated its distinctive 18 holes, ranging from 6300 to 6600 yards, a testament to its enduring quality evidenced by its selection to host prestigious events like the English Amateur Matchplay Championship in 2005 and various Cheshire Championships. Beyond its rich history, the course boasts a stunning natural landscape featuring numerous species of trees, copses, and ponds, all contributing to its visual appeal, while USGA standard greens and an equable climate ensure excellent playing conditions year-round with temporary greens rarely needed. Carefully fashioned to utilize the land's gently undulating contours, particularly around the challenging turn, Bromborough is not only a fantastic test of golf but also proudly home to European Tour star and Nordea Masters winner, Paul Waring.
