“I had the pleasure of staying at Carton House a few days ago and what a great experience we had. From check in we were met by very welcoming staff who checked us in. The only downside I felt was the room we were given. We were told at arrival, that we were upgraded but I didn’t feel that I experienced an upgrade - that said the room was fine. The food was amazing, the staff were friendly, polite and courteous to us and really looked after us. The highlight however, was our meeting and regular chats and banter with Brian Sutton, the Head Concierge. I have travelled a lot of places but have never met anyone like him. We joined him on the tour of the hotel and house and what an education we were given. It was an absolute pleasure to be in his company and I need to place on record that Brian Sutton is a real asset to Carton House and you should be very proud of him. Myself and my wife will be back in the very near future.”

“I played Omera course today. Property was beautiful. The service was good. The course was wet cause of time of year, but I loved playing it. €100 included a pull cart. I had a few Guiness and a burger after the round at the beautiful bar/ restaurant i think is associated with the Fairmont hotel. It was an overall great experience!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a great day out at Carton House, playing the O’Meara Course with a group of lads. The course was in excellent condition, especially considering the time of year and the heavy rain in the days leading up to our round. While a bit soft in places, the greens were exceptional and played beautifully. A special mention to Shane and the Carton House team who were very accommodating and welcoming. The overall setup, service, and atmosphere were all top class and made for a really enjoyable experience. We’d highly recommend Carton House to anyone looking for a great day’s golf in a stunning setting. That back 9! Particularly 14 through to 18 - What an amazing homestretch!”
