Childwall Golf Club
The Childwall Golf Club Limited Naylors Road Gateacre Liverpool L27 2YA
About the club
Childwall stands proudly among the finest parkland golf clubs in the region, offering a course that combines tradition, challenge, and charm. Originally shaped by the recommendations of James Braid, the layout has evolved over the years, with thoughtful adjustments that have added length while preserving its classic character.
Despite its reputation as a true test of golf, the course remains a pleasure to walk. Its gentle terrain and beautifully maintained fairways make every round enjoyable, whether you’re competing or simply taking in the surroundings.
The clubhouse adds to the experience with its warm, welcoming atmosphere. Designed by Alderman Shennan whose firm later created the iconic Royal Birkdale clubhouse, it’s an inviting place to relax, enjoy excellent food & drink, and share good company. Friendly hospitality is very much part of the Childwall spirit.
