Club overview
Imagine a championship Golf Course that not only provides stunning views from its advantageous position along the coast in North Wales, but this 18-hole, Par 72, course, which measures 6,476 yards, also offers a combination of classic pot bunkers and huge greens, making it a testing course for golfers of all abilities. This is just what you can experience at CONWY GOLF CLUB.
Playable all year round, this must play golf course on the North Wales coast is the only Open Qualifying venue in Wales. Over the past 7 years Conwy has hosted the prestigious 2009 European Amateur Team Championship, the 2010 S4C Wales Ladies Championship of Europe, its third European Senior tour event in 2012, the 2015 R&A Boys Home Internationals and the Welsh Ladies Open Strokeplay and the LGU Ladies and Girls Home Internationals in 2016. We arealso hosting the Mens’ Home Internationals in 2018 and the Curtis Cup, the pinnacle of ladies amateur golf, in 2020
These links provide a great test of golf all year round, as one would expect of an Open Qualifying course and whilst we strive to maintain these high standards, our objective is also to ensure that our members, visitors and societies enjoy their golf here.
Warm up on the excellent practice facilities with a driving range, chipping and practice putting areas before you enjoy your round.
The Club is also rightly proud of its modern Clubhouse, with its friendly Bar & Restaurant being the perfect place to relax and enjoy a drink, snack or meal with fellow players.
Conwy is also the 2020 host for the Curtis Cup. The premier team event for the best lady amateur golfers in GB & I and USA.

“This is an absolutely superb golf course and club house. The course was immaculate and greens in brilliant condition. We were met by the starter (Nigel) who was very accommodating by explaining the course rules, providing some history and having a general chat whilst we waited to tee off. Afterwards we enjoyed some food, which was excellent and served by a very friendly barmaid (wearing glasses) who seemed genuinely interested in our game and weekend plans. I can’t recommend this course enough. Thank you for being so accommodating.”
“Simply stunning. The whole experience was second to none. The course was fantastic, every hole kept your interest. Will certainly be back to play Conwy again. And what a backdrop! Thanks to all the team.”
“First experience of links golf for our 13 year old son. Made to feel very welcome in the Pro Shop. Practice facilities were great and then the course for time of year was very good with greens running true. A 3 club wind made it a true links experience for him but he had a smile throughout and enjoyed every minute.”
