“Amazing course, steeped in history. Staff in the shop and bar and restaurant were class , just very nice but very professional too if you know what im saying, just has that 5star feel. Was taken great care of. Thanks to all.”
“I cannot say enough good things about County Sligo Golf Course. I almost didn’t leave a view so it would stay as a hidden gem, but this course deserves all the praise. I had a 7:45am tee time and I was the first person off for the day. I walked with a caddie(Steven) and my wife while I played alone. The County of Sligo in my opinion is the prettiest part of Ireland and all 18 holes you take in some of the most breathtaking views you will ever see. The course design and conditions were top notch and very fair. There’s no wonky, Mickey Mouse holes for attention, just pure golf greatness. My caddie, Steven, was the best caddie I have ever had. Truly one of the most special people I met my entire trip, his knowledge of the areas landmarks and the course was second to none. In conclusion, County Sligo is the best course in all of Ireland. The course layout, the views, and conditions truly make this an amazing experience for any golfer. I have played some of the best golf courses in the west coast of the US(Pebble, Spy Glass, ect…), and my previous favorite course was Spy Glass Hill, but County Sligo immediately became my favorite course in the world. I will never forget the 18 hole walk I had that special morning at County Sligo, truly a life changing experience.”
“Spectacular from the word go. The reception we received was flawless, the course was phenomenal, the food & beverages at The View were perfect and the actual view was incredible for sunset. Put it on your list if you havent and if you havent played in a while, i'd suggest giving it another go. Great experience. Kudos to all. PS: the last photo is of the nearby Rosses Point Lifegaurds playing rugby on their break.”
