“If you are tired of the rain and the wind of the Link courses at St Andrews and would like a great game of golf on a park setting, book a tee time here at Downfield. It is well manicured and difficult enough to be fun for a low handicap, but fair enough for all levels to play a good game. Barry in the pro shop and his team give excellent service and make you feel very welcome. The Clubhouse is beautiful with well priced and delicious food and beverage. “We had a great round at Downfield last Friday. The course is in incredible condition with lush fairways, immaculate tee boxes, and fast, true greens. The tree lined layout offers a brilliant mix of risk & reward holes. The hospitality was very friendly from the pro shop to the clubhouse, making for a perfect afternoon of golf and post-round drinks. Downfield is easily one of the best inland courses that we've played in Scotland and will definitely be back!”
