About the club
Heyrose Golf Club, situated in Tabley between Arley & Knutsford in deepest Cheshire and just a mile from junction 19 on the M6, is a cherished establishment within the golfing community and often described as a hidden gem.
“Heyrose is a friendly environment that values people more than prestige, making it feel like a home. Membership at our club isn’t just about playing golf, it’s an investment which brings pleasure, satisfaction and a sense of belonging.
With our exceptional club professional, Lloyd Davies, who has just invested in bringing Trackman into all bays in our driving range, we are looking to grow the club by introducing specific programmes to cater for;
> Players who are “new to golf”
> New members with existing golf experience
> Midweek 9 hole qualifying competitions for working members (and non members!)
> Younger members looking to develop into tomorrow’s scratch players
> Ladies who would like to share a competition tee with their partners on a Saturday morning.
Membership is open to all, and we invite the community and golf enthusiasts of all abilities to be a part of the vibrant future of Heyrose Golf Club, and to come and Golf Where You Belong.
The club recently embarked on a new journey when it transitioned to a member-owned club in June 2024. This significant change came after the members of Heyrose Golf Club voted to take over ownership from the Bridge family, who had been proud proprietors of the club for over 30 years.
As a member-owned club, Heyrose is uniquely positioned to cater directly to the needs and aspirations of its members, ensuring that the club's future is shaped by those who cherish its values and traditions. With members actively participating in the decision-making process, the club is set to thrive, fostering growth and success.

Golfer reviews
“Brilliant driving range, we use it for filming on you tube, Played the course a couple of times over winter and really enjoyed it, doing a course review shortly(when we get permission from the club) and really enjoyed it. Be a great place to do regular videos for our you tube channel but membership is pricey given Saturdays are a right off with comps on. Nice golf club all in all, course is fun and driving range is top notch”
“Played in the ladies open on 20th June. From start to finish my experience at this club was great. All the staff/ members were so welcoming. From Tom, Ashley behind the bar, Lara who made a the best golfers baguette. Mr & Mrs. Captain on the first tee. Lady in the pro shop. Course was in great condition, some greens a bit wooly. If I lived closer I would join. Thanks for a great day”
“Played here on Sunday 3rd September 2023 with our golf society. Pro's: Excellent car park, with plenty of spaces. Lovely little driving range. Very friendly members, and staff. Hayley behind the bar was excellent, both at breakfast time and after our round, she couldn't do enough for us. Food was excellent. The course itself is lovely, and generally was in really good conditions. Fairways were well kept, and the greens were true. Cons: The tee beds were distinctly average compared to the rest of the course. They were uneven and unkempt. Overall, this is a challenging golf course and would definitely like to play here again.”
