“Had a Titleist fitting with Ryan today for the new GTS driver. A brilliant experience, Ryan knows his stuff, incredible attention to detail tweaking everything to find the perfect shaft, head and weight combination. Left feeling really confident with the spec best for me ready to order. Couldn’t recommend the fitting experience enough. Generally as a great guy to be in his position at the club creating a professional but welcoming environment.”

“Copy of my letter to the club post English Senior Amateur in early June 2026 All I can add is to promise me you'll get to play this wonderful golf course Subject: Sincere thanks for an outstanding English Senior Amateur event For the attention of the Club Captain (please share with Head Professional and Course Manager) I am writing following my participation in the English Senior Amateur event held at Ipswich and Woodbridge Golf Clubs. Four of us from Ferndown made the journey to compete, and although it was a long drive, it was absolutely worth every mile. I would like to extend our collective thanks and sincere gratitude to the members of your fine club. The unwavering commitment shown in ensuring the course remained playable throughout such harsh conditions was genuinely inspiring and greatly appreciated. My own daughter works for Danny Murray at Ferndown and I now first hand how hard they work.....and are often unappreciated. It did not stop there. The in-club staff were consistently polite, welcoming, and highly efficient throughout our visit. In addition, the support we received from volunteers out on the course was equally impressive and gratefully received. Ipswich Golf Club in particular has been on my bucket list for many years, and it certainly did not disappoint. What an incredible piece of land. I also understand from your professional that significant investment is planned over the coming years. In my opinion, this can only elevate the course further and should place it firmly within the top 50 courses. With your permission, I would also like to share my thoughts more widely with a small number of social media influencers who provide fair and balanced reviews. I have no doubt their assessment would be very positive. Finally, I would like to thank you once again and record that this was the best English Amateur event I have yet attended. Thank you for your time and hospitality. Yours faithfully, Todd Sothcott Ferndown Golf Club”

“Great course, fun to play and nice conditions even in the end of October. Great practice facility and pro shop. Even has a nice 9 hole course that’s absolutely worth a visit if you’ve got the time for it. Would love to play this course again.”
