“This is Irish golf at its finest. Having just played prior to the Walker cup, the course is truly in amazing shape. I have played many of the top Irish courses and this definitely stands out. Most importantly the caddies made the golf experience top notch. I was lucky to have Ollie, a senior caddie with exceptional course knowledge and green reading skills. All the caddies were very professional and were easy to have a laugh with. I would highly recommend Lahinch if you can get a tee time!”
“Toughest link course I've played. Played there 23 years ago. Played much better back then. 70 now so a bit different. Weather is an issue at times. Sideways rain basically for the front 9. Much better the 2nd 9. My caddie Jack was in a bit of a hurry only to wait to hit then shot. Pace could have been slower. My wife's caddie was brilliant. New club house and Proshop. Lahinch is hosting the Walker Cup in September. $550 pretty pricey to be in a hurry. That's my negative tahe away. A true test of your game, for sure. Beautiful town..”
“Played a round of 18 on the Castle Course a few days ago, and was floored with the level of service here. The course conditions here were immaculate as well. If you’re on a tighter budget and can’t afford the old course, don’t miss this same location, and very solid course that’s just next door. Not as undulating and flatter on appearance than the old course, we still found it difficult and unique as well in design. Had a lot of fun despite a bit of rain and want to come back to play the old course when we have a bit more coin! Lovely experience.”
