The home of Lancaster Golf Club is Ashton Hall which dates back to medieval times and has hosted kings of England in centuries gone by. Designed by James Braid, the renowned  golf course architect, Lancaster Golf Club has built a reputation of being one of the finest courses in the north west of England. Stunning views of the Lakeland hills, Trough of Bowland and the Lune estuary add to the enjoyment of the “Lancaster experience.” With two loops of 9 holes and a par of 71 Lancaster is a fair test of golf for both the accomplished & intermediate golfer. Lancaster has recently hosted the Lancashire County Championship and is a popular venue for the annual Pro-Am held in June. Enjoy the impressive grade 1 listed clubhouse that dates back to the 14th century and hosts a Dormy house that caters for up to 18 guests, all in en- suite rooms.
