Club overview
Here at Poulton Park, with the assistance of Sport England, we have just become a benchmark setting facility. With an investment of over £100,000 we have produced a stunning short game area to match anything else in the North West. This year has seen the short game area become one of only seven official Titleist Wedge Fitting Centres in the north west.
Now well established the short game area attracts some of the regions best players and coaches such as Andrew Murray and Phillip Archer to take advantage of such a rare facility.
Our Head Professional Freddy Valenti says he took the job here based on the short game facilities that would help him enhance his reputation as a short game coach. Freddy has recent set up The Players Golf Academy along with assistant professional Alex Pritchard and former European tour player Phil Archer. The 3 coaches all offer individual and group coaching with more information available at www.theplayersgolfacademy.co.uk Christmas lesson vouchers are also now available with all 3 coaches with prices starting from as little as £18, making the perfect gift for the golfer in your family. Poulton Park now also boasts one of the regions best indoor teaching studios, with state of the art Flightscope Launch monitor, Tomi Putting analysis software and V1 camera analysis it really is the complete package for all your coaching and custom fit needs. The Chip & Pin Short game centre has two large short game greens where with a tube a balls and an hour to spare you can recreate virtually any golf shot from inside 100 yards. The newly built ALL WEATHER pitching area situated to the side of the clubhouse has a synthetic green that reacts just like a normal grass green would. This unique green has three different pin positions which are set on three separate tiers. We have a full size USGA spec chipping green which is surrounded by two large bunkers to help practise all those delicate finesse shots. If you are serious about reducing your handicap and lowering those scores then the best short game facility in the North West at Poulton Park is the place for you…….To book your Chip and Pin slot now please call our professional Freddy Valenti on 01925 825220 and press Option 2.
