Royal St David's Golf Club
Royal St. David's Golf Club, Harlech, United Kingdom
Club overview
Nationally and internationally renowned, Royal St David's is one of Wales' premier golf courses. It provides a challenging test of golf in a breathtaking setting in the most beautiful and scenic part of the Principality and dominated by the brooding presence of Harlech Castle.
Established in 1894, Royal St David's Golf Club is the home of one of the finest traditional links courses in the world. The undulating fairways and fast true greens are all that would be expected of a championship links course.
The Club hosts National and International Tournaments, including the Ladies European Tour and the European Seniors Tour. In 2013 the Club hosted the prestigious R&A sponsored Jacques Leglise Trophy between GB&I Boys and the Boys of Continent of Europe. In 2016 we host the British Girls Open Amateur Championship.

“Great golf course with stunning views and a very challenging setup against the wind. Clubhouse is not what you would normally expect from a bestowed Royal Golf Course. However once you have played the course you don't care what facilities it has or don't have.”
“Brilliant days golf on a tough links course in a strong breeze and drizzle on a cold day in May. Greens were in excellent condition and the down wind front 9 was a lot easier than the majority of the back 9 into the breeze. Very tough. Great views of the castle on most holes but on our grey rain filled cloudy day we didn't get to see much further. All staff were helpful and friendly. All four enjoyed our first visit and would definitely return on a warmer dry day.”
“My favourite golf course in north wales it’s stunning views over the mountains and Harlech castle add to its beauty. This course is well maintained with great holes and good challenge for every golfer the last 5 holes are a real test looking forward to my next visit oh a quick mention to the bar area which serves good food and drinks with friendly staff. Cheers”
