Set in the heart of Sherwood Forest, Rufford Park Golf and Country Club, is a unique venue with an 18 hole golf course, conference and meeting facilities, and is one of the best wedding venues in Nottinghamshire.
Opened in July 1994, Rufford has had extensive direction from former Ryder Cup player Ken Brown.
The course has been carefully designed to compliment the naturally undulating parkland landscape. It has had extensive input from architects such as Donald Steel and Associatesand our current design consultants are the company led by Ken Brown, the BBC commentator & former Ryder Cup player. A fantastic all weather course having the benefit of being constructed on a free draining sandy base provides quality playing surfaces throughout the year.
The course is challenging for all levels of player, from novice to professional. Everyone can enjoy playing the course and with its many signature holes it will make your day at Rufford Park a memorable one, which will be talked about long after.
