“Played June 2026 during a heatwave - the fairways were firm. The greens were in great condition. Amazing views on some holes, well worth a visit”

“Stunning course. Well laid out. Can be a challenge in the wind but defo worth a trip - played in summer, green still played great”

“This place is something else. 🏌️‍♂️🌊 Perched high on the Norfolk cliffs, you’re looking out over the North Sea on almost every hole, it’s one of those courses where you catch yourself staring at the views instead of the ball. The stretch from 3 to 7 is absolutely unreal. You’re hugging the cliff edge, the wind is swirling, and every shot feels like a proper event. The 5th and 6th in particular are the kind of holes you remember for years: challenging, exposed, and incredibly satisfying if you pull the shot off. It’s not the longest course on the card, but don’t be fooled. The breeze, elevation changes and tight lines make it a serious test. It’s tough but fair: look after it and it’ll look after you. Conditions were spot on too: true, quick greens and really well-presented fairways, especially for a coastal track that takes a battering from the elements. What I loved most was how naturally the course sits in the landscape. Cliffs on one side, the heritage steam railway on the other, and a classic old-school clubhouse that gives the whole place a proper traditional feel. Staff were welcoming, the atmosphere was relaxed, and you can see why Sheringham keeps popping up in “must-play” and Top 100 lists. Not a cheap knock, but as a full day out: views, challenge, history, and a pint in the clubhouse afterwards, it’s worth every penny. If you like your golf dramatic, Sheringham needs to be on your list.”
