“I enjoyed an excellent lunch with a friend with very friendly and efficient service. Best to book ahead as this restaurant is usually busy in the tourist season. Wonderful views of the 17th and 18th holes of The Old Course - so a must-visit for golf fans Large free car park directly outside. Premises is wheelchair-accessible.”

“If you love golf, St Andrews should be high on your list. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. During the summer months, it is extremely difficult to get on the Old Course without a reservation from well in advance or a golf tour group. The singles draw is also very difficult to get a tee time with the number of players that enter. There are 6 courses, including the Old Course, all together with another two on either side of St Andrews. You might not get on the Old Course but other courses are more readily available.”

“Visiting St Andrews Links Clubhouse was an unforgettable experience. The clubhouse itself is beautiful, full of history, and perfectly captures the spirit of the Home of Golf. Walking through such an iconic place and seeing the views over the Old Course made the visit feel truly special. St Andrews Links is recognised worldwide for more than 600 years of golfing history, and you can really feel that atmosphere the moment you arrive. The guided tour was the highlight of the visit. Our tour guide was outstanding—friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the history of the Old Course. They shared fascinating stories about legendary golfers, the Swilcan Bridge, and the traditions that make St Andrews so unique. The walk around the 1st, 17th, and 18th holes was incredibly memorable, and hearing the stories while standing there made it even more meaningful. Visitors often mention how informative and enjoyable the 1.5-hour guided walk is, especially with access to iconic spots like the Swilcan Bridge. The guide made everyone feel welcome and answered every question with enthusiasm, which added a personal touch to the whole experience. Whether you are a serious golfer or just interested in history, this tour is absolutely worth it. A must-visit destination in St Andrews, and a huge thank you to the fantastic tour guide for making the experience so memorable.”
