Club overview
The course was built 26 years ago and was built to host large tournaments, which it did, hosting the Benson and Hedges European Tour event 4 times. It was designed by the famous golf course architect, Rees Jones and is his only golf course design in Europe. The course is a challenge for all abilities with 5 different tee options and the black tees measuring over 7400 yards. The course has large fairways and greens, but is protected by 144 bunkers and 4 huge lakes and the wind is also normally a factor.
