Wynyard Golf Club

Set in over 200 acres of rolling parkland and mature woodland on the exclusive Wynyard Estate near Teesside, the Wellington Course at Wynyard Golf Club is rated as one of the North's top golf destinations. Stretching 7000 yards from the back tee, this outstanding and highly acclaimed 18 hole, par 72 championship course includes sweeping fairways, panoramic views, elevation changes and over 80 bunkers to challenge the most experienced of golfers.

Despite only being built in 1996, the Club has successfully hosted the Seve Trophy, one of Europe’s most prestigious events, and is firmly positioned amongst the best in the UK. It attracts many of today’s rising stars of the future who train at the David Leadbetter Golf Academy (one of only 20 worldwide). A significant amount of money has been invested into the Wellington Course, greenkeeping equipment and machinery as well as Clubhouse facilities over recent years by owners, Jomast, and this is evident in the very high standards on offer. Pristine course conditions, all year play, a classic course design and greens and tees that meet USGA performance standards attract both amateur and experienced golfers from far and wide. Likewise, the Club is a luxury venue for corporate hospitality, social events, dining and civil wedding ceremonies and wedding receptions.
