THE VENUE
The second Winter Series venue is the championship links of Royal St David's in Harlech. Established in 1894, it has long been ranked among the top 50 courses in Britain, 2nd in Wales by Golf World and in Golf Digest's world top 100. Nearly eighty national and international championships have been played here.
Tee times run from 9.30 to 11.00.
THE FORMAT
- Pairs Betterball Stableford, playing off 75% of handicap.
- Limited to 24 pairs
WHAT YOU'RE PLAYING FOR
- Prizes for the top 3 pairs
- Nearest the pin prizes: a bottle of Gin, Vodka or Fizz
- Golf Guide members must play at least 2 Winter Series events to qualify.
- Earn 2 appearance points per event played; Winter Series standings use appearance points only, with no finishing-place points.
- Top of the Winter Series standings wins 2 nights and 2 rounds at a UK Macdonald Hotel & Resort.
