Al Sud at Palmares Ocean Living & Golf wins first Michelin star

Al Sud showcases the tastes of the ocean, as befits the restaurant’s location, with its panoramic views of the Bay of Lagos and the Alvor Estuary. Dishes such as seafood rice with sea bass, bluefin tuna with local Alvor oysters and Algarve scarlet shrimp with pork belly celebrate local flavours that date back centuries, while giving them an exciting contemporary twist. They have quickly earned Al Sud a reputation with the Algarve’s international visitors, as has the series of tasting menus, which take visitors on a journey of gastronomic exploration.
