Details is responsible for managing the largest portfolio of golf courses in Portugal, featuring the iconic Vilamoura courses – Old Course Vilamoura, Pinhal, Millennium, Laguna, and The Els Club Vilamoura, the Algarve’s first private golf course and the first Ernie Els club in Europe. The portfolio also includes the PGA Aroeira Lisbon courses, as well as Palmares, Vale Pisão, Tróia Golf, Monte Rei and San Lorenzo.
Nuno Sepulveda, co-CEO at Details – Sports, Hospitality, Leisure – who was on hand to receive the award from Your Golf Travel co-founders Ross Marshall and Andrew Harding, said: “It gives us, at Details, an enormous pleasure to receive this recognition, and to be given this award from Ross and Andrew is extra special for me. I’ve been lucky enough to have known both of them for a long time and they have always been keen supporters of golf in Portugal.
“It’s very exciting to be a part of the journey that the Arrow Global Group has embarked on and what we are doing. Portugal already offers almost everything you could want in a golf destination: 300 days of sun, safety, excellent food, rich culture, and plenty of leisure options. What it needs is a bold vision, supported by the right teams to bring it to life and then connect everything on a larger scale.
“That’s how Arrow Global Group and Details sees the future – not just creating places for people to visit once, but destinations they want to return to time and time again.”
