It inspires us to keep raising the standard of what La Reserva Club offers in this wonderful location of Sotogrande.”
La Reserva Club has developed a strong international reputation for thoughtful design, attentive service, and a setting that showcases the natural beauty of Sotogrande. From its renowned 18-hole golf course that has played host to the Ladies European Tour Aramco Team Series and refined hospitality, to its contemporary leisure spaces and wide-ranging lifestyle amenities, the club continues to draw members and guests from around the world.
The details
With only four Spanish clubs featured in the 2026-2027 rankings, La Reserva Club’s achievement highlights its growing influence within Europe’s golf and private club landscape, as well as Sotogrande’s position as one of the Mediterranean’s most desirable places to live and play.
This latest recognition follows a series of strong performances across major European golf rankings, which continue to highlight both La Reserva Club and Sotogrande as leaders in international golf. In the recently published Golf World Top 100 European Courses 2025, La Reserva Club rose to #52, supported by praise for Cabell B. Robinson’s design and the consistently high standard of course presentation. Sotogrande’s wider golfing portfolio also continues to shine, with Real Club Sotogrande climbing to #10 in Europe and Real Club Valderrama reaffirming its elite status at #6. Complementing these achievements, National Club Golfer again placed Sotogrande at #3 in its European Top 100 Resorts list, retaining its position as Spain’s highest-ranked golf destination and underscoring the region’s exceptional appeal.
La Reserva Club is a modern, private club that brings together world-class golf, leisure, and the relaxed elegance and prestige of Sotogrande’s 11310 postcode in one cohesive destination. Its championship 18-hole course is known for its sweeping views and pristine conditioning, supported by a welcoming clubhouse and an active year-round social calendar. The club also features the acclaimed inland beach club, ‘The Beach’ with its lagoon and waterside dining, a racquet centre for tennis and padel, and range of outdoor fitness and health activities. Blending nature, sport, and contemporary comfort, La Reserva Club offers a refined, yet laid-back, environment for members, residents, and guests.
