The details
Designed by Frank Pennink and meandering through tall avenues of pine forest and surrounded by wildlife and nature, Aroeira Pines Classic plays to 6,650 yards and demands accuracy and placement off the tee if you’re to score well.
Opened in 2000 and designed by Donald Steel, Aroeira Challenge complements its older sibling well and visitors will discover a course that possesses a few more thrills and spills along the way. At more than 7,000 yards from the tips, the course bares its teeth with water in play on nine holes and large, undulating greens testing the putter to the max.
Alongside the courses on the stunning Aroeira estate, the Aroeira Lisbon Hotel provides the ultimate in chic modern design, including 68 bedrooms and suites, an outdoor pool, a spa and a bar and restaurant, and offers easy access to the many golden sandy beaches in the Costa Azul region.
ORIZONTE provides golfers with the opportunity to play five of the leading courses in close proximity to Lisbon in the stunning Costa Azul, together with exceptional value for money on a wide range of accommodation options.
