“I told my wife on Monday that I was going to win this week. I felt that way. I was feeling good and glad to be back on these greens. I was hitting the ball well — and here we are.” said Srixon Staffer Nico Echavarria.
After a steady start to the year, Echavarria demonstrated how quickly momentum can shift in professional golf. He finished the week first in Strokes Gained: Total, underlining his control across every aspect of his game.
His iron play was particularly sharp, using a combination of Srixon ZXi5 and ZXi7 irons to rank fourth in Strokes Gained: Approach. Around the greens, his touch proved decisive. When faced with testing situations, he relied on his Cleveland Golf RTZ wedges, converting 16 of 19 scrambling opportunities to maintain control throughout the week.
Consistency told its own story. Echavarria carded just three bogeys all tournament — the fewest in the field — and played bogey-free over the weekend to close out the victory. The win secures his place in the season’s first men’s major next month and moves him firmly up the FedExCup standings as he builds early-season momentum.

On the LPGA Tour, Srixon staff player Hannah Green captured her first title of 2026 at the HSBC Women’s World Championship, finishing at 14-under par to claim a hard-fought one-stroke victory — the seventh LPGA title of her career.
“I had a strong pre-season and a good week last week. To be a champion so early in the season feels special. I played solid golf all week and feel I earned it,” said Green. The venue has proved a happy hunting ground for Green. Having previously lifted the trophy here in 2024 — a win that sparked a run of three titles that season — she once again used an early-season breakthrough to ignite momentum.
Green produced a composed and consistent display, hitting 58 of 72 greens in regulation (80%) with her combination set of Srixon ZXi5 and ZXi7 irons. When she missed, she recovered superbly, delivering a flawless 100% sand save record with her Cleveland Golf RTZ wedges.
A three-under front nine on Sunday gave her early control. The closing stretch proved a stern test, with three birdies and three bogeys in a tightly contested back nine, but Green maintained her composure to seal the one-shot win. Her victory reinforces her position as one of the LPGA Tour’s most consistent performers and sets the tone for the 2026 season ahead.
